SAG-AFTRA Members to Vote On Video Game Strike

The vote has unanimously passed the National Board and now goes to members.

This comes after months of a Hollywood shake-up with the Writer's Guild of America striking since May 2,2023 and the Screen Actor's Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, WGA and SAG-AFTRA respectively, started striking since July 14, 2023. Studios would include:

• EA

• Epic Games

• Activision

• Insomniac

• Take-Two

• Warner Brothers Games

• and more

Per SAG-AFTRA, negotiations over a new contract has ended in stalemate and the contract extension of one year beyond the original expiration date has made striking come on the table. The full statement is avaliable on their website.
