The Beauty of Shenandoah National Park

On the same day I went to Luray Caverns me, my girlfriend, and my mother, decided to take a "quick" trip to Shenandoah National Park. The sights we saw were beautiful. I have a lot more pictures to share but I highly recommend you go yourself. The drive on it's own on Skyline Drive was a sight to behold with the trees and all hanging over us in the car. The various overlooks acting as a window into the wilderness. I never felt so in touch with nature.

My mother was the one that really wanted to check out the wilderness in the first place. It reminded her of the trips she took when she lived in South America. We're already planning another trip possibly next year where we stay in a cabin or in one of the lodges. I wish I took more pictures and notes so I could really immerse everyone in the experience.

Living in the DC area has it's perks and one of those is definitely the Shenandoah National Park. 10/10 would come again. The Beauty of Shenandoah National Park is unparalleled.
