Why I started this website

Hello there! I'm Loaf Breadlington, at least, that's my online alias. I have always wanted a news website even as a little kid, no matter how lame that must seem. Today, that dream becomes a reality. I write all the time and even used to write long-form Twitter threads back in 2020-2021 during the height of the pandemic. I will essentially be doing the same here when I write my opinions, The news side will be less slanted but of course, my left-wing views will bleed into what I cover and how I cover it. Monetization of this site will keep it afloat. I do not expect to make money from this site or any other future (wink-wink) offerings the Breadlington brand may bring. Poker will write alongside me, covering whatever she may wish. The forum side of the site is meant for anyone and everyone, I am looking to offer a more left-wing view-friendly forum for discussion. Discussions may range from Hasan Piker's stream to whatever current event is going on and also just hanging out. Maybe you guys can start niche forums, possibilities are endless.

TLDR: News will be "serious," opinions and other blogging will be for funsies, and forum posting is whatever people desire. The Loafing Place blog will be where I put my personal blog.

Thank you for reading my mission statement, and I hope to see you all on this new journey. This is a passion project that I'm starting from my house, and it's just me and my girlfriend. Maybe if this gains enough traffic, who knows, maybe I'll need some helping hands. Anyway, toodles! :D
